Allaboutmytown began from a single website – allaboutstalbans.com – which launched in 2008. It went on to become St Albans’ premier leisure site and a familiar presence on the web and on social media.
Working in partnership with local government and businesses, we built apps and services to compliment the website’s core function and to monetize it, including ticketed events, restaurant booking, premium business listings and much more.
Rolling Out as a Franchise
After ten years of local success, the next natural step could only have been to roll out the business nationally and the franchise model seemed to be the best model to suit this expansion. A business of this nature needs partners on the ground in the local area developing and maintaining relationships with the community.
